Ask r/Bangkok how to meet people and the same answers come back every time. Join something that repeats: a run club, a climbing gym, a five-a-side game, a pool team at a bar you like, the Southerners sports club, a Thai class. The point is seeing the same faces every week, which a one-off party cannot give you. The weekly socials on the networking page are the organised version of the same idea, and the biggest of them says most people come alone.
The other thing people say is that the international crowd is transient. Friends made at a nomad meetup leave in three months; friends made at a Thai-run running club tend to stay. The Thai-language events on these pages are listed for that reason. If you can follow a conversation in Thai, they are the better bet.
