Two clubs, two walls of faces: the touring names and the residents who held the room together.

Comedy Club Bangkok

The Comedy Club Bangkok opened in 2014 above The Royal Oak. Friday nights mixed local comics with visiting headliners, alongside improv shows, open mics and workshops. Bigger touring names moved to the Scala and the Westin Grande when they outgrew the room. Jimmy Carr, Jim Jefferies, Gina Yashere, Jim Gaffigan and Neal Brennan are among the acts who played under the club's banner.

The Comedy Joint

The club's own wall put faces to the residents who carried a room seven nights a week and the acts passing through South East Asia who dropped in on them. This gallery brings 57 of those comedians back together. The small show total under a name is how many nights they were billed.

Counts come from show titles, so a comic who played as part of a lineup rather than being billed on it has a photograph but no number. Next: links and interviews with the residents.
