Gaming bars, cafes and arcades in Bangkok
Bangkok has three proper gaming bars, two barcades and a run of weed shops with a PS5 upstairs. This page lists each one with the consoles, the price and the hours, and says which of them run events. You can go alone and play what you like, single-player games included. Last checked on 30 October 2026.
Events and tournaments
Only one gaming night runs every week that we could confirm. RockBar at Arcadia Live is Rock Band 4 every Saturday from 19:00 to 22:00, free to enter, with thousands of songs to choose from. Arcadia's Facebook page has the dates. Reddit regulars call Arcadia the most social of the lot, and one mentions monthly high score contests, so ask at the bar.
Thaiger Uppercut, Thailand's big fighting game tournament, is on 13 to 15 November 2026 at IMPACT Arena in Pak Kret, with Tekken 8, Street Fighter 6, Guilty Gear Strive, 2XKO and Marvel Tokon among the games. Liquipedia has the line-up.
GTA VI comes out on 19 November, and Bamboo says it will have it from launch day. Game Bar Odyssey has been teasing a November title with a #gta6 hashtag.
Tournaments at bars do happen, but as one-offs. Game Bar Odyssey ran a Smash Bros tournament with ฿300 entry and a ฿3,000 prize pool, and Eden Dispensary on Sukhumvit 49 ran one in June 2025 on the same money. Neither has announced another that we can find. Bamboo sells a private tournament package at ฿490 a person, booked in advance, which suits a group or an office. Older press mentions weekly cash tournaments at Bamboo, but its site doesn't list any now.
Two Arcadia nights are still on its website and missing from its Facebook events for November: Free Play Wednesday (free games from 18:00 to 21:00 on the first Wednesday of the month) and Switch Socials (Mario Kart, Mario Party and Jackbox). Check with Arcadia before you go.
We couldn't find a weekly Street Fighter, Tekken or Smash night at any bar. If you run one, tell us and we'll list it.

Game Bar Odyssey, Ekkamai
A Japanese-style game bar over four floors, where your hourly rate covers unlimited drinks and every PlayStation and Nintendo console since the Famicom, from PS1 to PS5 and Super Famicom to Switch. The fourth floor has free billiards and darts at ฿20 a game, and the third is a private room for groups. The retro games are Japanese versions, while PS5 and Switch are in English. This is the one Reddit sends people to. Going solo is fine, and staff will play with you if you ask. One Reddit post says the owner used to play competitively in Thailand, so expect to lose.
- Price: ฿200 an hour with soft drinks or ฿300 with alcohol. Three hours is ฿550 or ฿800, and a full day is ฿1,280 or ฿1,680. VAT of 7% goes on top. One regular reckoned you need three or four drinks an hour to break even.
- Hours: noon to 03:00, and to 05:00 from Friday to Sunday, according to its Facebook page. Its website says 05:00 every day.
- Where: 326/5 Sukhumvit 63, near BTS Ekkamai. Its site has the full price list.
Bamboo Gaming Center & Bar, Ekkamai 22
The newest-looking room in town has 15 or more PS5 stations on big screens with sofas, Nintendo Switch, three racing simulators and a private room for ten. Mario Kart 8, Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8, EA FC 27 and Call of Duty are all on the shelves. You pay for the console pass and buy drinks separately, so long sessions cost far less than at Odyssey: a full day is ฿500 against ฿1,280. There's a bar and snacks, but no kitchen. Older guides list a Sathorn branch, and Bamboo now names Ekkamai only.
- Price: ฿200 for an hour, ฿300 for two, ฿500 for the full day, per player. Racing sims are ฿150 for 30 minutes. The private room is ฿1,200 an hour.
- Hours: daily, 14:00 to 02:00. Walk-ins are welcome if there's space.
- Where: 21 Ekkamai 22, a taxi or motorbike ride from BTS Ekkamai, with free parking. Book here.
HG International Darts & Game Bar, Sukhumvit 23
Game Bar Odyssey's sister bar, with the same price list. Two Reddit regulars recommended it on 30 October 2026: one for PS3, PS4, PS5, Wii, darts, karaoke and a big bar, the other for its social vibe. Its own page still carries the address of GameBar Guild on Soi 26, so go by Google Maps, which has it at 120/26 Sukhumvit 23, in Prasan Mit near Asok. Open noon to 03:00.
Arcadia Live, Phra Khanong
A neon-noir barcade inside the Cinematique hotel, with more than 800 arcade games on upright and cocktail cabinets, Switch games and a stage. It's the place for arcade games rather than consoles, with craft beer, cocktails and, according to Reddit regulars, kratom sodas and joints. It's open Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 to midnight, near BTS Phra Khanong, and its site has the rest. Its comedy nights are in our listings, and its quiz and board games are on our game night calendars.
100-Bit Barcade, Talat Noi
Thailand's first barcade, by its own account, and six years old this year. It has retro arcade games, fighting game cabinets, board games and a few modern systems at 831 Charoen Krung 31, and its Facebook page says solo, duo or the whole crew are all welcome. Google Maps had it open until 01:00 on a Friday. Its DJ nights were on Saturdays in 2024, and it has no dated events up now, so ring 099 614 9980 for this week's hours.
Weed shops with consoles
A dispensary lounge is the cheap way to play. One Reddit regular put a session at about ฿200 for you and your friends, against ฿600 or more for an evening at a game bar. You have to be 20 or over. Thailand's cannabis rules have changed more than once, so ask the staff what's allowed on the premises.
Stash BKK: Ari, On Nut and Ekkamai
All three branches are open 24 hours and advertise a lounge with PS5, PS4, board games, massage chairs and wifi, open to all customers with no reservation. They're at The HUB in Ari (BTS Ari, exit 4), The Beacon Place on Sukhumvit 50 (BTS On Nut, exit 3) and 379 Sukhumvit by BTS Ekkamai.
Thai Terpz, BTS Ekkamai
The only place on this page that lists an Xbox, alongside a PS5 and a Switch in the upstairs lounge, with an English pool table and a bar. It's open 24 hours at 604/21 Sukhumvit, one minute from BTS Ekkamai. Thai Terpz runs a cash pool tournament every Tuesday (pool, not video games, sign up at the bar) and live DJs on Saturdays.
High Thai Weed, Sukhumvit 33
The third-floor Blow Lounge has PS5s on 80-inch screens, with a restaurant downstairs and a rooftop on the sixth floor. Open 10:00 to 03:00 at 9/23 Sukhumvit 33.
High Society, Sukhumvit 31
A second-floor lounge with a PS5 area and board games, at 245/14 Sukhumvit 31. Google Maps has it open until 02:00.
Fat Buds, Sukhumvit 34
Fat Buds says its Sukhumvit branch has a PS5 and is under five minutes' walk from BTS Thonglor. We couldn't find that branch on Google Maps under the name, so ring +66 80 391 6417 first. Its On Nut shop at 233/4 Sukhumvit 77 has an arcade machine instead, and its Sathorn branch, the one with two PlayStation rooms, is marked temporarily closed.
Worth asking
Thaiger's August 2025 Khaosan guide mentions a PS5 and bean bags above Thai Cannabis Club and a gaming zone at Jesson's Weed on Chakrabongse Road, and Bud Brew & Beyond on Soi Kraisi is a hostel with a PlayStation in its common areas. We couldn't confirm any of these from the shops themselves.
Arcades and gaming cafes
Hero City on the seventh floor of MBK is the big mall arcade, with Tekken and other fighting game cabinets, and Google Maps has it open until 20:30 on Saturdays. AIS eSports Studio at Samyan Mitrtown is a 24-hour gaming cafe, mainly for PC players. Titans Esports on Lat Phrao 101 is an internet cafe for PC gaming, open very late. Such A Small World in Talat Noi is a co-playing cafe that has listed a PS5 and board games; Google Maps shows it open, but check the console before you go.
Closed, or wrong in older guides
Game Over Lounge in Thonglor, Retrociety in Wang Thonglang, Sheldon Ekkamai and BKK RoLoft Khaosan are all marked permanently closed on Google Maps, and some 2026 guides still list Game Over. GameBar Guild on Sukhumvit 26 looks gone too: its Instagram and Facebook pages have disappeared, it isn't on Google Maps, and its owner's menu now opens HG's page.
Quick answers
Where can I play video games with a drink?
Game Bar Odyssey in Ekkamai charges ฿200 an hour with unlimited soft drinks or ฿300 with unlimited alcohol, plus VAT. Bamboo Gaming Center on Ekkamai 22 charges ฿200 an hour for PS5 or Switch and you buy drinks separately. HG International on Sukhumvit 23 has consoles, darts and karaoke, and Arcadia Live in Phra Khanong has 800 arcade games and a bar.
Can I go alone?
Yes. Regulars on Reddit say going solo at Game Bar Odyssey is fine and that staff will play with you, HG was described there as having a nice social vibe, and 100-Bit says solo, duo or the whole crew are all welcome. For meeting people, Saturday's Rock Band night at Arcadia is the best bet.
Can I play single-player games, or is it only party games?
You can play single-player games. Bamboo says its library of more than 40 games includes solo adventures, with The Blood of Dawnwalker as its pick for a long story session, and Game Bar Odyssey stocks new single-player games such as Onimusha: Way of the Sword. Both charge per person, so going alone costs no more.
Do any gaming bars in Bangkok have an Xbox?
Thai Terpz by BTS Ekkamai is the only place on this page that lists one. Game Bar Odyssey and HG stick to PlayStation and Nintendo, and Bamboo has PS5 and Switch.
Do I have to drink alcohol?
No. Game Bar Odyssey's ฿200 plan is unlimited soft drinks and its ฿300 plan adds alcohol. At Bamboo you pay for the console pass and order what you like from the bar.
Are there tournaments in bars?
Not on a regular schedule that we could find. Game Bar Odyssey and Eden Dispensary have each run Smash Bros tournaments with ฿300 entry and a ฿3,000 prize. Bamboo sells a private tournament package for groups at ฿490 a person. The big fighting game event is Thaiger Uppercut, at IMPACT Arena in Pak Kret in 2026.
Which weed shops have a PS5?
Stash BKK at Ari, On Nut and Ekkamai (PS5 and PS4, open 24 hours), Thai Terpz by BTS Ekkamai (PS5, Xbox and Switch, open 24 hours), High Thai Weed on Sukhumvit 33, High Society on Sukhumvit 31 and Fat Buds on Sukhumvit 34.
Is there pinball?
Very little. The arcades on the seventh floor of MBK have a few machines, and Reddit regulars say they are not in great condition. We found no mention of pinball at Arcadia or 100-Bit.
