14–24 January 2027 · Bangkok
Bangkok Comedy Fringe Festival
A yearly stand-up and improv comedy festival with the best local and international performing artists.

A fringe for Bangkok
Let’s make it together
We’re putting together a comedy fringe festival in the spirit of Edinburgh, with theatre, stand-up and improv alongside YouTubers and the Thai scene. We want everyone to put their best foot forward in showcases, bringing their strongest work to the stage. Save the open-mic experiments for another night.
By joining forces for a big press push, we aim to bring bigger audiences out to shows and get the kind of coverage we couldn’t manage as organisers working alone.
International acts will be flying into town, including Ric Diez from Kill Tony, to join the performers who make Bangkok’s stages worth showing up for all year. We also want to make Bangkok a stop for international talent on their way to Australia.
We want Bangkok’s different performing arts scenes to meet, see each other’s work and make shows together. That cross-pollination is part of the point of putting everyone on the same festival programme.
The festival is a collective of Bangkok’s stage-event organisers, and anyone is welcome to join. Bring a show, bring an idea, or come along as an audience member. We want to build on it year on year.
