Bangkok has no shortage of nights out, and most of them have been done to death. A comedy night is the one people talk about afterwards.

We book private shows at a venue of your choice, or bring a host, MC or keynote comedian to a gala, launch or networking evening you are already running. For a networking event, a good host is the difference between a room of people looking at their phones and a room that mingles.

Workshops and teambuilding

You do not have to be a stand-up to benefit from thinking on your feet, listening properly and adjusting mid-sentence. Those are trainable skills, and they are the same ones comics use every night.

Improv and public-speaking workshops build confidence in front of a group. Light humour, timed well, breaks the tension in a disagreement and gives multicultural teams somewhere to meet.

Comedy for sales and marketing

A lot of comedians come from sales or marketing and took the trade with them. The workshops cover finding a brand voice that sounds like a person, writing twenty social posts in ten minutes, and charming a client without offending anyone in the room.

If video is part of your marketing, the people worth learning from are the ones who hold a new audience's attention every night with new material.

Hosts, MCs and workshop leaders from The Comedy Joint and Bangkok's working comedians, who between them come from corporate, media, higher education, marketing, small business and the military. We match the room rather than sending whoever is free.
