Bangkok has a small, busy scene. Most nights of the week there's something on, and most rooms will find a spot for a decent visiting act if you ask ahead.
The rooms
Khaosan Comedy Club is another option for visiting comedians. It is Usually open Tuesday to Sunday, and sometimes on Monday, but it occasionally closes on Tuesday and schedule changes may not be advertised. Check the Khaosan Comedy Club venue page and contact founder Jonathan Samson through the club's Instagram or Facebook before making a special trip or asking for a spot. It is intentionally not repeated across the weekly listings because its nightly programme is not reliably advertised.
Outside Bangkok
If your route takes you further than the capital, these are the rooms we currently know run comedy. Most are occasional rather than weekly, so treat them as a contact to make rather than a night to turn up to. The comedy calendar for the rest of Thailand carries any dates that have actually been announced.

Getting a spot
Where a room publishes a way in, it is in the "Getting on" column above and on that show's own page. Some take bookings on a form weeks ahead: the Level Up open mic runs its Tuesday list on its own booking page. Others still take sign-ups on the night, so turn up at doors. For showcases and paid spots, contact the promoter ahead of time; a short clip helps.
Where a room has published a booking page, that is what the column links to. Where none has, it falls back to the profile that promoter actually answers, which is not the same promise, because nobody told us they take requests there. If you get on through one of those, tell us, and the next comic will not have to guess.
Listing your night
Send the poster and the details, so day, doors, showtime, venue and price, and it goes up. The listing feeds the site and the weekly email. It is free and there is nothing to sign up to: list your night.
