About the night
Long Time No Laugh are a Bangkok long-form improv troupe, and this is their night at The Garage Burger & Grill on Sukhumvit 32. There is no script and no set list: the performers build every scene on the spot from suggestions the room shouts out, so the show is different every time and nobody on stage knows where it is going either.
The troupe is joined by guests from across the Bangkok improv scene, which is why the night is billed as '& Friends'. Expect bold choices, big characters and the occasional glorious collapse — long-form improv is a high-wire act and the near-misses are half the fun.
An open mic jam usually follows the main show, so anyone who fancies trying it can get up rather than only watch. Beginners are welcome at that part; you do not need experience or a prepared bit.
Entry is free, and the venue asks that you support them by buying food or a drink while you are there.
