About the night
Two improvisers, one stage, fifteen minutes, and no idea what is coming. That is the whole format: TwoProv puts duo acts from across the Bangkok improv community in front of a room for a quarter of an hour each, with everything built on the spot from suggestions the audience shouts out.
The pairings are the point. These are new duos who have not played these particular acts together before, so each fifteen minutes finds its own world, characters and shape, and none of it can be repeated — including by the people doing it. The bill is five duos plus a surprise guest star.
It is hosted by Christy Lau of Zmack, the Thailand arm of the international improv team, at Arcadia Barcade in Phra Khanong, five minutes’ walk from BTS Phra Khanong. Tickets are ฿350 and include a drink.
