About the night
Lost in Translation is a new show at The Comedy Club Bangkok, above The Royal Oak on Sukhumvit 33/1, on Saturday 24 October 2026 at 20:00. It mixes stand-up, improv and storytelling about what happens when cultures collide. Ages 17+.
Jay Yamaki, the 2024/2025 World Roast Battle Champion, tells his own stories of cultural collision. The audience supplies the rest. Write your own misunderstanding down anonymously and it may be read out on stage, or tell it yourself if you are feeling brave. The club's improv team then act some of those stories out.
Limited early-bird tickets are ฿450, advance tickets ฿555 and door tickets ฿700. Book through Megatix. The club will donate 10% of proceeds to the Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer as part of its Funny In Pink October initiative.
