About the night
A fortnightly improv night in Ekkamai run by Bangkok Creative Underground. The host's own framing is the clearest description of it: "This isn't a class, and it isn't a show. It's an activity we all do together."
Everyone in the room gets up and plays. The evening is built from improv games and scenes made up on the spot — no scripts, nothing worked out in advance, and no audience sitting apart from the performers. People who have never done improv are explicitly welcome alongside those who have, and the stated point of the night is spontaneity, laughing, and getting a group of strangers playing together.
It runs 7pm to 10pm and it is free. Places are taken through the Meetup listing rather than at the door, so RSVP before you go.
The night runs every two weeks on a Thursday. The dates listed here are the ones the organiser has published, which currently run to early January 2027.
