Comedy, quizzes, game nights and shows in Ratchadamnoen, Khao San Road, Phra Nakhon and Wang Burapha.
The old town around Ratchadamnoen Avenue has Bangkok’s oldest stages: Rajadamnern Stadium, with fights every night, and the Sala Chalermkrung Royal Theatre, with Khon on weekday afternoons. Khao San Road and Phra Nakhon add comedy and quiz nights for the backpacker crowd.
There is no BTS here. MRT Sam Yot is the nearest station for Sala Chalermkrung. For Khao San, take a taxi or the river boat to Phra Arthit Pier; for Rajadamnern, a taxi or the canal boat to Panfa Leelard Pier.
